• Chat Data: The content of your conversations on mechatyou. As per our current design, this data is ephemeral and associated with your session. User data and associated chats are deleted when your session ends (logout or inactivity).
• Usage Data: Information automatically collected when you access the App, such as your IP address, browser type, operating system, access times, and the pages you have viewed directly before and after accessing the App. This also includes your `lastSeen` timestamp to manage online status and session expiry.
• Blocked Users: A list of user IDs you have blocked.

Having accurate information about you permits us to provide you with a smooth, efficient, and customized experience. Specifically, we may use information collected about you via the App to:

• Create and manage your account.

• With Other Users: Your chosen name, age, sex, country, and state/region will be visible to other users you interact with or who see you in the online list. Your chat messages are visible to the user you are chatting with.

While we have taken reasonable steps to secure the personal information you provide to us, please be aware that despite our efforts, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable, and no method of data transmission can be guaranteed against any interception or other type of misuse.

We operate on an ephemeral data model. Your user profile, chat history, and related data are deleted from our active database when your session ends. This can occur if you explicitly log out or if your session expires due to inactivity (currently after 30 minutes of inactivity).

We do not knowingly solicit information from or market to children under the age of 13. If you become aware of any data we have collected from children under age 13, please contact us using the contact information provided below.
